ET Power is a proud supplier of DCEC enigne and engine parts. Dongfeng-Cummins Engine Company Co (DCEC) is a 50:50 Joint Venture Company established between Dongfeng Motor Company and Cummins Company in June 1996.
Dongfeng Motor Company is one of the largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles in China. Cummins is a leading company in product development, design, manufacturing and sales of diesel and CNG engines in the world. DCEC benefits strong support from Cummins in product development, manufacturing, quality, and management to continuously increase its competitiveness.
With the introduced electronic control engine platform, the technical center owned by the company can design, develop and test engines specifically to meet diversified customer needs. The company’s main product line includes: B & C series engines of mechanical fuel system with displacement volume covering 3.9 litres (60 – 150 HP), 5.9 litres (160 – 235 HP), 8.3 litres (220 – 325 HP) which comply with Euro II emission standards and Tier I for off highway mechanical equipment.
Besides company also produces ISBe, QSB, ISCe, QSC, ISLe and QSL series engines, 3.9 to 9 litres with full electronic control and a power range from a 100 to 400 HP which complies with Euro III and IV emission standards and Tier II, Tier III standards for off highway mechanical equipment, Dongfeng and Cummins strategic cooperation has undergone 4 major steps since the mid-80’s when it started as a license agreement for the B Series engine to today’s development of a new 13 litre engine which will take advantage of Industry leading technology that will make it capable of meeting future emission standards in global heavy duty markets. Dongfeng and Cummins are also joint partners in the Fleetguard filter manufacturing plant in Shanghai.
