Xi’an Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as XCEC), located in Xi’an, a long-established cultural capital, is heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing Joint venture, the world’s largest independent engine manufacturer(American Cummins Corporation) and China ’s heavy truck leader(Shaanxi Holding Group) with a ratio of 50:50. XCEC is the production base of Cummins 11-liter heavy-duty engine outside North America in the United States. It officially started production in August 2007.

XCEC mainly produces ISM11 and QSM11 series fully electronically controlled diesel engines. The displacement is 10.8 liters and the power range covers 250-440 horsepower.
